The Runways, powered by the Fashion for a Cause Foundation (FFACF), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is a platform during the Miami Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week and New York Fashion Week (NYFW) series of events that launches and showcases emerging designers from all around the world.
The Runways is an expansion of the Fashion for a Cause Foundation’s existing programs to support emerging talent which includes South Florida International Fashion Week, a bi-annual event held in South Florida currently in its 5th edition. The Fashion for a Cause Foundation has been supporting
emerging designers and models while contributing to raising awareness and funds for local charities since its founding in 2011.
During the NYFW FW2020 edition, The Runways showcased a fashion collective of emerging designers and features Jhoan Sebastian Gey ’s debut collection at New York Fashion Week; Grey is the 2019 winner of Project Runway, Bravo TV’s fashion reality competition.
Following NYFW, The runways showcased an international fashion show hosted by Conrad Residences in Fort Lauderdale featuring Miami based designer Yas Gonzalez, the award winning couture designer based in Central Florida, Inna Rudenko and Chilean emerging designer Vedran
Skorin. The Runways is launching its second edition in Miami to support one of the Miami Swimweek favorites brands Luxe Isle, among with celebrity designer based in Tampa, Odalys Marino at the new Casa Bella Residences located in Miami.
